"And a child shall lead [me]..."

This morning as I was getting Katelund ready for school, I was helping her get dressed into the most adorable outfit ever that her Grandma Black gave her for Christmas. As she stood back to model how cute she was, I said, "Oh Katelund, you are going to be the most beautiful girl at school today." She smiled for a second and then it quickly faded as she corrected me by saying, "Actually Mommy, everybody is beautiful and everybody is special."

I love it! I love it when my kids show me up . . . which happens with scary frequency.

There's a 5K we're doing in April (CPod and me, and MommyJ if she actually shows up this year) . . . it's relatively flat and easy. I'll send you an e-mail about specific locations, but you should do it with us.

And when are the girls getting together? You need to be there this time, and I'm ready! (Although, I'm feeling pretty good right now because as I write this, I'm sitting on the lanai watching my kids swim in the pool at our rental house in Orlando. Life's not so bad!)

That is too cute. Don't you love it when our children kind of put us in our place and are wise beyond their years??

Okay, when I clicked post, it put my comment on here twice, so I removed one. Weird.

How sweet is she! I love it when B. says, "Mommy, we have to be humble." after someone has complimented her.

I agree. Very sweet.

And about this weekend, actually we were not invited. So, maybe there is a time we could hang out a little. Maybe you guys could come over? I am pretty sure that Cory has Randy's phone number.
