No Thanksgiving Pictures??

What was I thinking? I totally forgot to take any pictures on Thanksgiving, so here are a couple others that I took this last week (I have to post pictures to make Grandmas happy) :) .

Me and my buddy. She tells me that she's my shopping buddy. She LOVES to go shopping, and HATES to go home because "home is boring". I think I'm in for trouble in a couple of years.
You may be asking..."Why does she have a band-aid on her lip?" Because she bumped her lip of course. Apparently, band-aids make everything feel better.

Okay, so I have to add this story b/c it is hilarious. Cory took the day off of work today b/c he had to work on Saturday. So he went to Kate's school and had lunch with her. At dinner, I asked Katelund how it was having Daddy there for lunch. She said that he had everyone doing thumb wars and that he made all the kids have fun and be loud and so he got in trouble with the teachers. Apparently, the teachers had to come over and ask them (not really them...Cory) to be quieter and calm down. He said all the kids got all wound up b/c they were so excited. It's funny to me because it reminds me of church. I'm constantly quieting my kids down, but not as much as I'm giving the evil eye to Cory b/c he is tickling them and instigating their craziness. Anyways, I thought it was pretty funny.

Emma LOVES to shop, too and requests to go to the mall. "I need more clothes, mom!" For the record, we don't buy clothes for her at the mall in the first place. Secondly, I was thinking about this topic a little earlier today and this is what I want to do: tell Emma that we're going Treasure Hunting and only the best treasure hunters can find treasures disguised in the "special stores". (Thrift and Consignment sotres.) I used to shop this way when I lived in Cali 10 yrs ago, but have since fallen out of the habit with the advent of the super Wal-Wart and Target so nearby. But, I never forgot what a rush I would get to find that Treasure hidden in those "special places." :)
This rush is SOOo much safer than speeding cars and jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, too, I might add!

Now, be honest . . . isn't all that fun-loving goodness part of the reason you married him? That's how I feel about my husband!

Like mother, like daughter?? I mean the looks and not the shopping, of course. Lol. Brooklynn LOVES to shop with me too. As a matter of fact today when I picked Brooklynn up from pre-school she asked me what I did and I told her I went shopping. She asked me if I got her anything while I was shopping. I said no. She looked very disappointed and said, "But you always get me a surprise when we shop." She's probably right!! No wonder she likes to shop so much!

Yes InkMom, that is defintely one of the reasons that I married him. I really do love it!! He is just a little boy at heart and I think it is adorable.

Amber, I think that is why Cloey likes to shop too.

Tricia, I love the "special stores". Cloey is a great Goodwill shopper.

Sounds like Cory to me.......I am not surprised, and it makes me smile because I'm reminded of what a great dad he is. B. always wants daddy to go have lunch with her, but doesn't ever ask me.....hmmmm, should I be offended? :) I have to say what everyone has said.....WOW, you and cloey look more alike than ever, and I love your dark hair. Bandaids are definitely the cure-all for little girls.
