One of the great things about being is Texas is that I can use Andrea's computer to blog. We have been having a lot of issues with our computer and I have not been able to get on to Blog. Anyways, I am having so much fun here in Texas. I love being with my family!! I am having so much fun staying with Andrea in her new house. She has done such a good job at making it a home. It is adorable, but of course with Andrea I wouldn't expect anything less. I am also having so much fun being with my neice and nephew!!! I can't believe how quickly children grow up. Ethan is just talking up a storm and he has so much personality already at 2 (almost 3) years old. I can't wait for Cory and Katelund to get here also. Katelund is going to have so much fun playing with her cousins.
Last night, we picked up Amy, Tyson, Gage, Victoria, Zoe, and baby Mia from the airport. On the ride home, I realized how very little I know about these cousins of mine. I hope and pray that one day my children will not feel the same way about their cousins! I know that it is very difficult when you live far apart, but it is still so important to stay in touch and visit often.

So I know you all have been dying to know....my rolls were incredible!!! We had so much fun last night. They invited the new mall manager and his family to come over also. The husband and wife are both from College Station, Texas. The wife looks exactly like a Texas girl, she is very cute and friendly. We hit it off really well and we have a lot in common. She has two boys that are almost exactly the same ages as Katelund and Cloey. She doesn't know anybody here yet. I invited her to come to playgroup each week and I got really brave and asked her if they had found a church yet. She said that she is Methodist, but I am going to call and invite her to come with us on Mother's Day. Sherrie and I also invited one of our friends, Erin, (she works at the Goodwill) to come to church with us the same week. I really need to have some kind of missionary experience before Logan gets home in about 4 weeks.
Speaking of Mother's Day, I am in charge of the Mother's Day gift that is given out during Sacrament Mtg. I kindof volunteered for it b/c I want to give the mother's a flower with a tag attached that says, "Oh, Mother I give you my love with this flower". Does anybody know where that line is from? It is from the song that the primary kids will be singing....any guesses?....it is Abby's favorite song? The answer is....actually I am going to wait and see if any of you know it. (Andrea, you cannot play!!) Anyways, I am trying to find 100 gerber daisies. I tried to order them online from Sams but they won't deliver it any earlier than the 15th. I am thinking of buying potted flowers from a nursery. What do ya'll think? Any suggestions?

Another week has come and gone. Just one more week and a couple of days and we will be in the great state of Texas.
Last night Cory and I went to the temple. It was such a great night!!! I don't know why but I was somewhat emotional through parts of the endownment. I just was really touched by a couple of new things that I learned and/or now understand better. It is always so wonderful to look over across the room and see the love of my life looking at me all in white. We have this thing that we do whenever we are in a session together. We look over at each other periodically and wink. I know that sounds so cheesy but it melts my heart everytime!!!
Tonight we are going over to our friends house for a goodbye party. They are moving to Tennessee in a couple of weeks. We love their family so much!! Cory and I go over to their house almost every Sunday night and play Rook with them. We are going to miss them so much!! In fact, Jim is trying to get Cory to work for his company. He just got promoted up to the corporate office and he thinks that Cory would do great in his business. Cory gave him a resume to take to one of the main guys in CBL but we'll see what happens.
In fact, Jim flew out to Dallas on Wednesday to give a presentation and then he went to the Rangers game. Last night at the temple (all the stake leaders and their spouse went to the temple last night together since stake conference is this weekend) I told Jim that my parents were probably at that game also. Don't ya'll have season tickets?
Anyways, I am making rolls and mashed potatoes to take over tonight. I am going to make mom's homemade rolls. I just got back from running so I really need to get "rolling" (do you get it? Rolling the dough? LOL).

Katelund is now talking non-stop about going on an airplane to Texas. As soon as she saw Grandpa, Grandma, or Stefani, that is the first thing that she told them. We are all so excited!
Today is another gorgeous day in North Carolina. I am going to spend the day outside cleaning my cars and going on a walk with my girls. I just want to find any and every excuse to be outside.
Last night for Family Home Evening, I taught Katelund the story of Jonah. We have this big stuffed animanl dolphin that I used as the whale. The lesson went really well, especially when Katelund got to sing the verse about Jonah in one of her favorite primary songs, "Follow the Prophet". After the lesson, I started to wonder if maybe that was not such a good lesson to give her at such a young age. I just hope that when we go to the ocean this summer, she won't be afraid of a whale swallowing her. Actually now that I think about it, I hope that I'm not afraid of a whale swallowing me, her, or anyone else for that matter.

Only 15 more days, and Cloey and I will be on a plane to Texas!! I am getting so excited. It is going to be so much fun to see all of the Black side of the family. Going to the temple all together is going to be one of the biggest highlights of the trip. The only down side is the fact that Katie won't be there. What an incredible and awesome day it will be to all be in the temple together as a family when Katie gets her endownment. I am so looking forward to that day. Yesterday I bore my testimony in church but I left out one of the things that I was really feeling because it was getting a little long. I was just really feeling uplifted yesterday and I felt such an amazing amount of joy and happiness all day. I wanted to say in my testimony how grateful I am for the plan of happiness. I love the fact that they now call it the "plan of happiness" instead of the plan of salvation, because it is just that, a plan that brings so much happiness!!! Yesterday and today have been absolutely gorgeous days!!!! I am just so grateful to be alive and healthy.
Yesterday I had a very long heartfelt fast. I was fasting first of all for forgiveness (I yelled at Katelund Saturday when she found some fingernail polish and got it all over herself and the bathroom floor, I felt so horrible and when I was repenting I pleaded with Heavenly Father to please erase that memory from Katelund's mind) and second of all for some direction on what and where to look as far as a house or apartment. Although my dreams of a house may have to be postponed a little longer, I know that when all is said and done, having or not having a house will not be of much importance. I am reading a book called Emma right now. I cannot believe how many times Emma and Joseph had to live with other people, with parents, or live above somebody's store. I guess it just goes back to the old saying "a home is where your heart is", and my heart is wherever Cory, Katelund, and Cloey are. They truly are the greatest treasures on earth.
