life is good

I'm feeling the baby move all of the time...

today is the start of fall...

Standards Night (this last Sunday) was a success...

I've got some good ideas for YW in Excellence...

Katelund's attitude has greatly improved lately...

the leak in our basement is fixed...

I think I see a little bit of the sun today...

Cory gave me an awesome pedicure last night...

preschool went well today...

...did I mention that I am feeling the baby move all of the time? All of the other things are good, but the baby moving is making life wonderful.

Yay! I'm so glad your feeling the baby move so much. Isn't that such a fun feeling. I've tried to explain it to Brian, but somehow, explaining that it feels like a big gas bubble moving around doesn't do it for him. :) I'm so glad things are going well.

Yay for moving babies! More importantly, yay for YOUR moving baby! (again, I wish you lived here -- could I ever say that too much!?)

I am so glad things are going so well for you in this pregnancy! When do you get another chance to see if it is a boy or girl?

So excited to hear things are good for you guys! And you are brave to do the preschool thing! I just send my kids away for that!!! But I am sure you do an AWESOME job at that. Do you remember those holiday crafts, the pumpkins and reindeer, that we did for our Art Methods class??? Seems like just yesterday! I am too curious when you are going to find out what you are having, sooo exciting!

By the way, the story you told in your comment was hilarious!! That's like one of those nightmares about going somewhere without clothes. I am sooo nervous to start teaching kids in a real classroom!

In answer to your question, yes, most things do translate to all stringed instruments. Most of the issue is the size. My fingers just don't stretch that far! It's also really tiring to play the bass. The fact that it is vertical instead of horizontal means that I no longer have gravity on my side so the way you hold it and play it are really awkward. I am enjoying it though. I've always wanted to learn the other stringed instruments.

Good to hear all of that "good" going on in your life right now.....I wonder if I'll ever feel a baby move again? That would be awesome. It's just the coolest feeling. I'm happy for you. :)

You know what they say: No rain, no rainbow. After all the rain, how wonderful to see the rainbow!

And Mandy, I too, hope you get to feel that moment (or should I say movement), again.
